Types of dandruff
There are two types of seborrhea: dry and oily, so we can distinguish two major types of dandruff which could be dry or oily:
- Dry dandruff – simplex Pitiriaziss of the scalp
- scales are smooth, dry
- frequent lavage is worse;
- associated with pruritus;
Oily dandruff – seborrheic dermatitis
fat scales are associated with itching and redness of the scalp.

Certain foods and beverages can make worse dandruff.
